Please reference the public notice for instructions on submitting comments. 4300 Cherry Creek Drive S., Denver, CO 80246-1530 P 303-692-2000 www.colorado.gov/cdphe J°I Jared Polls, Governor I Jill Hunsaker Ryan, MPH, Executive Director ef,;. -PL LD f -(A i�L31 I# L Lt 5� 1, -Pt,� t1-4, ► Dnl bm 1 s$), '11zziz5 2025-2108 Website Title: Air Pollution Control Division Notice of a Proposed Construction Permit Warranting Public Comment Verdad Resources LLC - Sonic Star 1101 Pad - Weld County Notice Period Begins: July 22, 2025 Notice is hereby given that an application for a proposed project or activity has been submitted to the Colorado Air Pollution Control Division for the following source of air pollution: Applicant: Verdad Resources LLC Facility: Sonic Star 1101 Pad Well Production Facility SESE Sec 11 T8N R60W Weld County The proposed project or activity is as follows: Verdad Resources LLC submitted a permit application to convert permit coverage from the existing GP10 to this permit for the following equipment: -Two (2) 400 barrel fixed roof crude oil storage vessels connected via liquid manifold -Two (2) 400 barrel fixed roof produced water storage vessels connected via liquid manifold -Heater Treater venting during VRU compressor downtime -Hydrocarbon liquid loadout from storage vessels to tank trucks using submerged fill The heater treater venting portion of the application was cancelled during the permitting process and that point (Point 010) no longer exists at this facility. These crude oil vessels receive liquid from the oil surge tank during LACT downtime. During this LACT downtime, crude oil from these vessels is hauled out via tank trucks using submerged fill and associated vapors are routed back to the crude oil storage vessels. These produced water storage vessels receive liquid from a commingled produced water stream consisting of the produced water streams from the 3 -phase heated separators and the 3 -phase heater treaters. Emissions from the crude oil and produced water storage vessels are routed to one (1) GCO ECD 2000 enclosed combustor. The facility is considered a synthetic minor source of VOC under PSD, NANSR and Title V programs. (Regulation Number 3, Part B, Section III.C.1.d.) The division has made a preliminary determination of approval of the application. A copy of the application, the division's analysis, and a draft of construction permit number 22WE0488.CP1 are available on the division website: Air Permit Public Notices The division hereby solicits submission of public comments from any interested person concerning the ability of the proposed project or activity to comply with the applicable standards and regulations of the commission.
