Dear Mr. Schmidt:
After trying to reach you by phone several times, I decided a
letter would be best.
The decision made by Commissioner Moser and the County Engineer
was that as soon as the approved approach for Lots 2,3, and 4
was completed and brought up to County Standards by the subdivider
the existing approach to Lot 2 would be obliterated by the County,
thus assuring the proper access for this area.
Any questions you have about this I would refer you to Ralph Morgan,
Road Supervisor District # 3, and he can be reached most mornings
between 7 and 8 A.M. at 284-7841 .

The Weld County Engineering Department has been instructed
by the Weld County Commissioners and the County Attorney to
remove the present access to Lot 2 in Schmidt's Estates.
This letter will be your official notice that on or about
August 12, 1974 the necessary County equipment will be in
the area to remove above mentioned approach.

Re: Lot 2 - Schmidt's Estates
Dear Mr. Norden:
On or about May 8, 1974 you were notified by certified mail that
you are in violation of the law pertaining to the installation of an
approach from Lot 2, Schmidt's Estates, on to County Road No. 27
(old U. S. Highway 85) in complete violation of the recorded plat of said
subdivision and in violation of the Weld County Zoning Resolution per-
taining to road approaches.
In view of your continuing violation as above recited, I am
instructed to advise that you take immediate steps to remove and/or
close the hereinabove mentioned access to said Lot 2 in Schmidt's
Estates and proceed in accordance with the approved access as provided
for in the recorded plat. If no action is taken to close the hereinabove
illegal access within ten (10) days, I shall have no alternative but to
bring an action against you for injunctive relief as provided for under the
applicable county zoning rules and regulations.

Subject: Schmidts Estates Subdivision on or Before
On May 8, 1974, Mr. George Norden was notified by certified mail that
he had installed an approach from Lot 2, Schmidts Estates onto County
Road No. 27 (old U. S. Highway 85) in violation of the recorded plat
and Weld County's rules concerning road approaches.
On June 10, 1974, another inspection was made and at that time nothing
had been corrected; therefore, it is recommended this be referred to the
County Attorney for legal action.
Please find attached copy of letter and recorded plat.

rules concerning road approaches.
Under such circumstances this letter will be your official notice to remove said approach
and install it in the proper place as shown on recorded plat, copy of same enclosed.
Another inspection will be made of this subdivision in about thirty days and we will ex—
pect this correction to be made by then.
