City of Evans Amendment to the
208 Areawide Water Quality Management
Plan - 208 Wastewater Utility Service Area Modification; revised August 15, 2025.
The North Front Range Water Quality Planning Association (NFRWQPA) will conduct a public hearing to amend the
208 Areawide Water Quality Management Plan. The public hearing date tentatively would be November 20, 2025,
at 2:00 PM. The City of Evans proposes to modify its 208 Wastewater Utility Service Area (WUSA) boundaries. The
Amendment would change the current 208 Wastewater Utility Service Area boundaries within the City of Evans
Utility Plan approved October 26, 2023. The following maps illustrate the current (Figure 1) and proposed (Figure 2)
208 Wastewater Utility Service Area boundaries. The 208 boundary revision aims to address the planning area
overlap between the City of Evans and the Town of Milliken, and illustrate an area under an Intergovernmental
Agreement (IGA) between the City of Evans and the City of Greeley.
Comments may be expressed during the association's public hearing/meeting tentatively set for 2 PM on
November 20, 2025, or by contacting the NFRWQPA office at mthomas@nfrwcipa.. This Public Notice is also
available on the Association website, along with associated documents here.
The Proposed 208 Wastewater Utility Service Area boundary modification has been revised (Figure 2) as of
August 15, 2025. This revision removes the red -crosshatched area labeled as the North-East Long Term
Service Area in the previous map provided. Within the legend of the revised proposed map, included below,
the new service area is illustrated using red -crosshatched mapping, which the City is proposing to add to its
current 208 Wastewater Utility Service Area boundary, and the service area to be removed is illustrated
using blue -hatched mapping.
