RESOLUTION - -`g 7
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, that a proposed sale of a tract of land more particularly
described as follows, to-wit:
The south fifty feet (50') of the east fifty feet (50') of
Lot 7, Block 11, Aristocrat Ranchettes, Inc., Subdivision,
as recorded in the Weld County records, Rec. No. 1359527.
to Aristocrat Ranchettes Water Project, Inc. , for the purpose of well and water
storage sites does not come within the purview of the definitions of the terms
"Subdivision" and "subdivided land" as set forth in CRS 106-2-33, (3) (a) and (b)
1963, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
desires to exempt this particular division of land for the aforesaid reasons
pursuant to its authority under CRS 106-2-33 (d) , 1963, as amended,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proposed sale and development
of the hereinabove described tract of land to the Aristocrat Ranchettes Water
Project, Inc., for the sole purpose of well and water storage sites be exempted
from the definition of the terms "Subdivision" and "subdivided land" as provided
for in the new Weld County Subdivision Regulations at Section 2-1, A., (3) ,
adopted August 30, 1972.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of April, 1972.

The Aristocrat Ranchette Water Project, Inc . , and the citizens
of the Aristocrat Ranchette ' s subdivision respectfully request
an exemption to the Weld County Subdivision Regulations to the
following described parcels__o.f—la-ndr -
The south fifty feet (50 ' ) of the

Block 11 , Aristocrat Ranchettes ,
Inc . , Subdivision , as recorded
in the Weld County records , Rec .
No . 1359527 .
The south fifty feet ( 50 ' ) of the
east fifty feet ( 50 ' ) of Lot 5 ,
Block 59 , of Aristocrat Ranchettes ,
Inc. Subdivision , Second filing ,
as recorded in the Weld County
records , Rec . No. 1401906 .
The above described parcels will be used for well and water
storage sites for the Aristocrat Ranchette Water Project, Inc . ,
which has been previously approved by the regional planning
commission . The project has received a $14 ,000 .00 grant from
Governor Love' s contingency fund because of the extreme need
for sanitary drinking water in the area . I am enclosing here-
with a letter from Governor Love to the Aristocrat Ranchette
Water Project , Inc. It is hoped that , with the Governor' s
grant and the loan which has been approved by the Farmer ' s Home
Administration , a safe source of drinking water can soon be
provided .
The granting of an exemption will be greatly appreciated by
the Aristocrat Ranchette Water Project, Inc . , and the citizens
of the subdivision .

Dear Mrs. Green:
lam pleased to announce that final details for a partial solution
to your water problem have been worked out. Figures from the engineering
report, as indicated by the Farmers Home Administration, show that $28,000
is the amount needed to put in one well and storage for your community.
The Farmers Home Administration has stated that if the State would
provide $14,000 they would work out the details on the remainder of the
necessary funding. This letter then is intended as notice that the $14,000
state share will be provided from my emergency fund and handled in the
following manner: The $14,000 grant will be assigned jointly to your
association and the Farmers Home Administration and expended only by
joint signatures after approval by both the Aristocrat Ranchette Community
Group and FHA.
The Farmers Home Administration will be responsible for the
administration of this project and your Association will be working with
them in this area.
Your attention to this community problem is to be commended
and hopefully this action will assist in the provision of safe drinking water
to your area.
