Approve Appointments to Planning Commission
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commission, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Calven. Goza to said board as the Advisory Board District 4 Representative, and
Hunter Rivera to said board as the At -Large Representative, both with terms to expire
July 31, 2027.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Calven Goza and Hunter Rivera, be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Planning Commission, both with terms to expire July 31, 2027.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 21st day of May, A.D., 2025:

Scott K. James, Pro-Tem: Aye
Jason S. Maxey: Aye
Lynette Peppier: Aye
Kevin D. Ross: Aye
