Approve Appointment and Reappointment to Board of Public Health
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, a vacancy currently exists and the term for a certain position on the Board of
Public Health will soon expire, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Joyce Smock to said board as the At -Large Representative, and to reappoint Tom Cope
to said board as the Advisory Board District 3 Representative, both with terms to expire
May 23, 2028.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Joyce Smock be, and hereby is, appointed, and that Tom Cope, be, and
hereby is, reappointed to the Board of Public Health, both with terms to expire May 23,
2028.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 18th day of June, A.D., 2025:
