Subject: Award Recommendation for Washed Rock and Squeegee B2500073
As advertised, this solicitation is for Washed Rock and Squeegee
On May 12, 2025, three bids were opened for the 2025 Washed Rock and Squeegee.
The bids were submitted by Brannan Company, Green Dream International and J-2
Contracting Company.
Public Works recommends the bid for washed rock and squeegee be awarded to J-2
Contracting. Green Dream International returned the lowest bid, but after trucking
costs were calculated, the overall lowest cost and best interest of Weld County is J-2
Contracting.
Therefore, the recommendation is to award the bid to J-2 Contracting Company in the
amount of $45,500.00
