Approve Reorganization of Weld County Sheriff's Office
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners has conducted an organizational
evaluation of the Weld County Sheriff's Office, and
Whereas, as a result of the organizational evaluation and upon the recommendation and
consent of the Weld County Sheriff, the Board desires to reorganize the structure of the
Office according to the chart which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as
Exhibit "A," and
Whereas, the Chief Human Resources Officer has notified the employee(s) currently in
the position(s) which will be eliminated through said reorganization of the elimination of
their position(s) at least ten (10) days prior to said release, in accordance with the
requirements of Weld County Code Section 3-5-10.C, and
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the Sheriff's Office, shall be organized, effective August 27, 2025, as set
forth in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 27th day of August, A.D., 2025:
