Approve Appointment and Reappointment to Extension Advisory Council
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, a vacancy currently exists and the term for a certain position on the Extension
Advisory Council will soon expire, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Jill Matlock to said board as the Family and Consumer Science Representative, with a
term to expire February 1, 2028, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Rick Bowen to said board as the At -Large Representative, with a term to expire
February 1, 2028.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Jill Matlock be, and hereby is, appointed; and Rick Bowen, be, and hereby
is, reappointed, to the Extension Advisory Council, both with terms to expire February 1,
2028.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 29th day of January, A.D., 2025:
