SUBJECT: Bid Recommendation for #B25-02
Chip Seal Aggregate - Multi -Agency bid
On March 4, 2025 Larimer County Purchasing opened three bids for the 2025 Chip Seal Aggregate Supply
that included quantities for both Weld County and Larimer County.
The two lowest bids from Green Dream International and Simon did not meet the bid specifications for
the gradation size of aggerate. Black Rock Material and Supply met all bid specifications; however, their
bid price is extremely high, and they cannot guarantee a long- term supply of material.
Public Works is recommending to not award this bid to any vendors and rebid this material.
