RE: CPW Fee Title Acquisition Concurrence Letter Request
I am writing this letter to request your support for the fee title acquisition of 632 acres by
Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW). This property is located in Northern Weld County
approximately 11.5 miles northeast of Grover, NE of intersection of Weld County Roads 99 and
130. CPW will manage the property as a state wildlife area and allow limited wildlife recreational
opportunities for Weld County residents and its visitors. CPW also plans to develop youth
focused programs on the property centered on wildlife education and to provide youth with
wildlife recreational opportunities. CPW will also maintain limited agricultural use in terms of
grazing to assist in maintaining the spirit of the property and help to improve overall wildlife
habitat.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife respectfully requests your support of this fee title acquisition. If you
