operations uneconomical
• Solar Facilities will provide major
benefits to the landowner &
Community
• Proximity to Substations
• Available Distribution lines
HOW WILL SOLAR
CONTRIBUTE TO
AGRICULTURE?
• Landowner does not have water rights so farming these parcels is uneconomical
• Solar Facilities help keep land in ag production
• Fenced area will continue ag use with sheep grazing
• Contribute to Agrivoltaic research
AGRIVOLTAICS
SunShare is planning to partner
with researchers to conduct
Agrivoltaic & Soil studies
Plots of land within the facility
could be used as control groups to
study various scenarios
A partnership could contribute to a
growing braintrust that will benefit
Weld County landowners
The studies conducted at these
sites could help in understanding
solar on arid farmlands
