RE: APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS FROM WELD COUNTY TO THE
LARIMER-WELD REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, heretofore and on September 17, 1969, Weld County
did by Resolution appoint five members of its Planning Commission, and
the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, to serve on the initial Board of Directors of the Larimer-Weld
Regional Planning Commission pursuant to rules and regulations that may
be adopted, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such rules and regulations that now have
been adopted, and the Board being sufficiently advised;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the following from Weld
County be, and they hereby are appointed to serve on the first Board of
the Larimer-Weld Regional Planning Commission, to-wit:
1. Glenn K. Billings, Chairman, Board of Weld County
Commissioners;
2. Phillip G. Bowles, Member of Weld County Planning
Commission;
3. J. Ben Nix, Member of Weld County Planning Commission;
4. Ronald K. Heitman, Member of Weld County Planning
Commission;
5. John P. Watson, Member of the Weld County Planning
Commission;
6. Leonard Bartels, Associate Member of the Weld County
Planning Commission;
7. Henry H. Brunner, Associate Member of the Weld County
Planning Commission, ALTERNATE.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE BOARD that Glenn K.
Billings and J. Ben Nix shall serve for one year; that Phillip G. Bowles
and Ronald K. Heitman shall serve for two years; and that John P. Watson
and Leonard Bartels shall serve for three years. Thereafter, appoint-
ments shall be for three year terms. Members on the Regional Board
from Weld County may be reappointed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote, on the 4th day of February, 1970.
