The Weld County Board of Health met on July 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the second -floor hearing
room of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment and by via Microsoft
Teams.
Those present included:
Board Members: Tom Cope, Joyce Smock, Lonnie Ford, Michael Wailes, and Linda Kautz.
Others: Katie Sall, Alex Clemments, and Nick Trautner from Environmental Health, Weld County
Department of Public Health and environment.
Claire Mack & Luke Bond Denali Water Solutions representatives were also present.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM. A motion was made by Tom Cope to approve the
agenda. Lonnie Ford seconded the motion, and the motion was carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The board approved the minutes of the June 24, 2025, meeting. A motion was made to approve by
Michael Wailes, Tom Cope seconded the motion, and the motion was carried unanimously.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT: No report given.
Biosolids New:
Denali Water Solutions- Katie Sall presented 2 new biosolid applications. No public comments or
concerns were received. Environmental Health recommends approval.

the motion, and the motion was carried unanimously.

Nick Trauteer confirmed that Miguel Garcia will be presenting next month's meeting —Ground
injection wells.

Joyce recommended a presentation on waste.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:13 am. Next meeting is August 26, 2025.
