Surety Reduction Request (SR -2)
Please be advised that on August 26, 2025, L. G. Everist, Incorporated, whose address and telephone
number are 7321 E 88th Avenue, Suite 200, Henderson, CO 80640; (303) 286-2247, filed an application for
a Surety Reduction Request (SR- 2) to M2001017, Carbon Valley Resource, which is located approximately
0.5 mile north of Firestone, Section 6, Township 2N, Range 67W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County.
Surety Reduction for completion of grading, topsoiling and seeding.
Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained
from Nikie Gagnon at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215
Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 527-1640.
Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the
application review process. The Division is required to provide a thirty (30) day period following a decision
on the release application to allow for appeals to its decision.

Please be advised that on September 28, 2018, L. G. Everist, Incorporated, whose address and telephone
number are 7321 E. 88th Ave., Ste 200 , Henderson, CO 80640; (303) 286-2247, submitted a request for
partial acreage release for the Carbon Valley Resource, Permit No. M-2001-017. The construction materials
extraction operation is located at or near Section 6, Township 2N, Range 67W, 6 Principal Meridian, in
Weld County.
Written comments or objections to the release may be submitted to, and additional information obtained
from, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado
80203, (303) 866-3567. Comments or objections should be submitted as soon as possible. The Division is
