The Weld County Board of Health met on May 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the second -floor hearing
room of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment and by via Microsoft
Teams.
Those present included:
Board Members: Tom Cope, Aron Lam, Lonnie Ford, Michael Wailes, and Linda Kautz.
Others: Katie Sall, Lauren Light, and Nick Trautner from Environmental Health, Weld County
Department of Public Health and environment. Denali Water Solutions representatives Luke Bond
and Claire Mack were also present.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM. A motion was made by Tom Cope to approve the
agenda. Lonnie Ford seconded the motion, and the motion was carried unanimously.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The board approved the minutes of the April 22, 2025, meeting. A motion was made to approve by
Aron Lam, Lonnie Ford seconded the motion, and the motion was carried unanimously.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT: No report given.
Biosolids New:
Denali Water Solutions- Katie Sall presented 1 new biosolid application. No public comments or
concerns were received. Environmental Health recommends approval. DS -2500001.

Per applicant's request application is postponed to June 24 meeting, Katie Sall made the announcement to
board members and mentioned that resident notices and referrals for SS -2500001 will be send out again in
June.

A motion was made by Michael Wailes to approval the renewals. Aron Lam seconded the motion,
and the motion was carried unanimously.
PRESENTATIONS: No presentations.
Staff Discussion:
Aron Lam mentioned that Board Member section needs to be updated on the county website.
Lauren mentioned that Silvia Cerrillo will be the new liaison person for board of health.
She also mentioned that Doug Printz did not re -appoint to another term, Torn Cope did re -appoint
another term —THANK YOU TOM — No response from Jeff Reck as of now, a new Board District #2
position will be posted if no response from Jeff is received.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:53 am. Next meeting is June 24, 2025.
