RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER SCOTT K. JAMES TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Scott K. James be appointed
to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board
• Bright Futures Board
• E-470 Public Highway Authority — Non -Voting Member
• Human Services Advisory Commission
• North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization — Regular Member
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Scott K. James to
said boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2024, unless otherwise noted above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner Scott K. James, be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2024, unless otherwise noted above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 3rd day of January, A.D., 2024, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2024.
