WHEREAS, Tina Powell was presented with the NICE Public Safety Director of the Year Award for 2024 and was one of eight
individuals recognized by NICE nationwide for excellence in emergency communications, and
WHEREAS, this award is well deserved as she has overseen the implementation of a new public safety software system and
helped ensure the best efficiency in 911 service possible. The Director of the Year award only adds to the Weld County
Regional Communications Center's reputation as one in the best centers in the nation.
