Box 758 Greeley, Co 80632 Dear Weld County Board of Commissioners: As a landowner In Weld County, I am writing to state my support for the Taeler Solar Project which is proposed on private property in the community. This project will provide income for the egriculturel landowner and increase property tax refund tor the county. The increased tax revenue will help our schools, fire district and the general fund. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. • Sincerely, r 41/44 Mike Cervi Cervi Enterprises, Inc. Box 758 Greeley, Colorado 80631 September 23, 2024 Dear Weld County Board of Commissioners, As a local property and business owner, I am writing to express my strong support for the proposed Taelor Solar Project in Weld County. This project will be constructed on private land that currently generates insufficient income to cover property taxes. Given the land's limitations —particularly the lack of adequate water for farming and its marginal suitability for livestock grazing ---a solar project represents a much more viable and sustainable use. It would not only provide reliable income for the landowner but also generate significant tax revenue for Weld County, benefiting all residents. Beyond direct financial benefits to the landowner, the broader community will also see substantial advantages. During construction, the project will stimulate the local economy by creating jobs, utilizing local equipment and resources, and supporting area businesses. These short-term economic impacts will be followed by long-term benefits, including full-time employment opportunities for local residents and a consistent stream of tax revenue. This revenue will be essential for supporting critical services, such as local schools, fire districts, and the maintenance of county roads by Weld County Public Works, along with contributions to the general fund. In addition to economic growth, this project also supports Colorado's broader sustainability goals. As part of the state's Renewable Energy Standard (R ES), which aims for 100% renewable electricity by 2040, and the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Reduction Roadmap, which targets a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030, the Taelor Solar Project will play a vital role in advancing Weld County's contribution to these critical initiatives. Furthermore, by aligning with the Colorado Solar and Storage Initiative, this project positions the county as a leader in the state's transition to clean, renewable energy sources, attracting future investments and bolstering the local economy. The Taelor Solar Project delivers both immediate and long-term benefits to the landowner, the community, and Weld County. Its potential to boost economic growth, generate jobs, increase tax revenue, and support the county's transition to renewable energy makes it a clear asset to the region. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Art Guttersen EXHIBIT &to Case # I Casa #: USR24-0014 DENVER Co 602 Name I Nombre. Magnum Feedyard Co. Box 758 1402 N. 17th Ave Greeley, CO 80632 Dear Mr. Parka, We are writing on behalf of MSP Reservoir Company, LLC ("MSP") to notify you that we have met with Mr. Steve Gabel (landowner) and Mr. Matt Mooney, VP of Development for Balance Rock Power to discuss the Taetor Solar 1, LLC project located immediately adjacent to [and we control on the south side of 1-76 at Exit 57 CR 91, in Weld County, consisting of approximately 3,200 acres. We met to voice concerns about erosion control and reclamation obstacles that may result from installation of the the solar project and create "blowouts" impacting land. MSP also expressed understanding that our project will need to address the same issues regarding Mr. Gabel's Land. MSP is satisfied that both parties have agreed in principle to arrive at solutions that will address these concerns and are mutually beneficial, including to be agreed upon setbacks from our common property line. We have not agreed to specifics at this time but do believe we have agreed to work together in good faith and are confident the parties wilt resolve these and other small items that may come up during their approval process. Our goat is to work in good faith with Mr. Gabel, as our neighbor and long-standing property owner to advance both of our projects. Thank you and please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. 10/14/2024 Hello, Let me introduce myself, I am Michelle Miller. I am reaching out to you so you may better understand my opposition to the proposed solar farm to be developed on the Magnum Feedlot ground located one half mite west of my mother's property. Our family settled here over 100 years ago. We have fought hard over the years with our farm and ranch to provide a livelihood and to be good stewards of the land. It is heartbreaking to me to think of looking West of my property to see miles and mites of solar panels which was once grazing land for our cattle and prime agriculture for our crops. Not to forget the negative environmental impact that is associated with solar power. The loss of viable agricultural land, loss of habitat, loss of water, the effect of hazardous materials during manufacturing, and lack of responsible waste disposal for the units. The life cycle emissions for photovoltaic emissions are between 0.07 and 0.18 per KW hour. Most estimates for concentrating solar power range from 0.08 and 0.2 pounds of carbon dioxide. This sacrifice is not worth the reward. My mother wilt experience a huge financial loss because of decreased property value as it is located in close proximity to the solar panels. I greatly oppose this invasion of her home and the surrounding area. Thank you for your consideration. Best regards, Michelle Miller EXHIBIT izovu 0014 Hello
