Equipment (QTY 2)
The Fleet Services Department has reviewed all bids that were received and
recommends awarding the bid to Transwest Truck Trailer RV. Transwest is the lowest bidder
that meets all specifications. International's total bid was $8,106.86 lower but, did not meet bid
specifications for the following: Push Button Shifter is unavailable and, option with setback axle
does not have an option for a front engine PTO. The bid is for two Tandem Axle Dump Trucks
with Snow Equipment at a cost of $393,484.00 each, for a total of $786,968.
