BOX 758 GREELEY, CO 80632 Paul Teicher Program Manager Safe Streets and Roads for All Program Dear Mr. Teicher, On behalf of Weld County, I am writing to express our strong support for the Town of Timnath's application for a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant to develop the Timnath Safety Action Plan. We applaud Timnath's proactive approach to addressing transportation safety and their commitment to achieving the Vision Zero goal of eliminating traffic fatalities and severe injuries. Weld County is in the early stages of contracting to develop its own Safety Action Plan, which will focus on the unincorporated areas of the county. We want to assure you that our plan will not overlap with the Town of Timnath's proposed study area. Instead, we view our efforts as complementary and essential to enhancing transportation safety throughout the region. Weld County is dedicated to working collaboratively with Timnath and other regional partners to ensure a coordinated approach to transportation safety planning and implementation. Weld County recognizes the importance of regional collaboration in addressing transportation safety issues and creating safer roads for all users. We fully support Timnath's efforts and believe their Safety Action Plan will not only benefit their community but also contribute to the overall safety and well-being of the entire region. We enthusiastically endorse the Town of Timnath's application for SS4A grant funding and encourage the U.S. Department of Transportation to give it full consideration. Weld County looks forward to partnering with Timnath and other regional stakeholders as we work together to eliminate traffic fatalities and severe injuries on our roads. Sincere) Kevin D.
