SUBJECT: BOCC Agenda Item
Weld County Public Works performed an emergency closure of Balsam Avenue between WCR 62
(C Street), and 8th Street, from 5/29/2024 through 6/5/2024.
The emergency closure was due to a washout that resulted from the severe weather event the hit the City
of Greeley and surrounding areas that exposed a natural gas pipeline. Local businesses affected were
notified and provided alternate routes. The repair was part of the State of Emergency declaration by the
City of Greeley and Weld County's Office of Emergency Management.
Please add to the Consent agenda.
