Nixon, has issued a proclama- tion designating Monday, July 21, 1969, a national holiday, in anticipation of the first American landing on the Moon, and WHEREAS, Governor John A. Love, of the State of Colorado, has made a similar proclamation, and WHEREAS, Weld County joins with the Nation and the State in the issuance of such a proclamation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Monday, July 21, 1969, be designated a national holiday, in conjunction with the proclamations of the President of the United States and the Governor of the State of Colorado, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Weld County Court House, Greeley, Colorado, and all County Offices, shall be officially closed to the general public on Monday, July 21, 1969, a national holiday, as proclaimed, honoring the first American landing on the Moon. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote, on the 18th day of July, 1969.
