Looking West at subject property from Highway 392 f U R23 0024 MEMORANDUM TO: Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners DATE: January 29. 2024 FROM: Molly Wright, Planning Services SUBJECT: USR23-0024 Continuance Request Case number USR23-0024 for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for a Solar Energy Facility outside of subdivisions and historic townsites in the A (Agricultural) Zone District was scheduled for a January 16, 2024 Planning Commission hearing date followed by a January 31, 2024 Board of County Commissioner's Hearing date. County offices were closed on January 16, 2024, due to inclement weather, therefore the Planning Commission hearing has been rescheduled for February 6, 2024 followed by the February 21, 2024 Board of County Commissioners hearing. Box 758 Greeley, CO 80631 To Whom It May Concern: My name is Wesley Aragon, my wife Sarah and I live directly south of the proposed Antelope Hill 1 & 2 solar project (USR23-0024) at 13600 CO -392, Greeley, CO 80631. I believe as long as this project stays on track for what the plans are with agrivoltaics, it is a benefit to multiple parties. It is also a different way to develop the land without putting subdivisions up and still having the opportunity to keep it involved in agriculture. I support Cloudbreak Energy's development of the Antelope Hill 1 and Antelope Hill 2 solar projects (USR23- 0024) in Weld County.
