RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER KEVIN D. ROSS TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Kevin D. Ross be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• Greeley -Weld County Airport Authority (Term Ends 12/31/2026)
• North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization — Alternate Member
• Upstate Colorado Economic Development Board
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Kevin D. Ross to said
boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2024, unless otherwise noted above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner Kevin D. Ross, be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2024, unless otherwise noted above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 3rd day of January, A.D., 2024, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2024.
