RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF CHRIS COULTER AS DIRECTOR OF THE WELD
COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board wishes to express its appreciation to Curtis Naibauer for his
admirable service as the Interim Director of the Weld County Facilities Department, from
November 6, 2023, through March 3, 2024, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners, deems it advisable to appoint
Chris Coulter as Director of the Weld County Facilities Department, effective March 4, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Chris Coulter be, and hereby is, appointed as the Director of the Weld
County Facilities Department, effective March 4, 2024.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of March, A.D., 2024.
