HomeMy WebLinkAbout20240155.tiffRESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT, USR23-0024, FOR A SOLAR ENERGY FACILITY (SEF) OUTSIDE OF SUBDIVISIONS AND HISTORIC TOWNSITES IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - LEE AND RUBY LINBLAD, AND M.A. LINBLAD, LLC, C/O CBEP SOLAR 22, LLC, AND CBEP SOLAR 23, LLC WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on January 16, 2024, the Weld County Offices were closed due to inclement weather conditions and the scheduled Planning Commission hearings were rescheduled to later dates, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 31st day of January, 2024, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the application of Lee and Ruby Linblad, and M.A. Linblad, LLC, 13313 State Highway 392, Greeley, Colorado 80631, c/o CBEP Solar 22, LLC, and CBEP Solar 23, LLC, P.O. Box 1255, Sterling, Colorado 80751, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR23-0024, for a Solar Energy Facility (SEF) outside of subdivisions and historic townsites in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to -wit: Lot B Recorded Exemption, RE -391, and another parcel, both being part of the SE1/4 SW1/4 of Section 17, Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and reviewed the request of staff for a continuance and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be approved and the matter should be continued to February 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., to allow the case to be heard by the Planning Commission on February 6, 2024. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to February 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. ccTL(Egh-o4No),cA(+ok), ASR (ss), APPL., 14PPL. County offices were closed on January 16, 2024, due to inclement weather, therefore the Planning Commission hearing has been rescheduled for February 6, 2024 followed by the February 21, 2024 Board of County Commissioners hearing.
