RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist and the terms for certain positions will soon expire
on the Regional Communications Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint and
reappoint the below representatives, with terms to expire as listed:
Chief Dakota Germer: Appointment as a Police Zone North
Representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2026
Chief Scott Sedgwick: Appointment as Police Chief
At -Large Representative, with a term to expire
December 31, 2027
Chief Bear Hulsey: Appointment as Fire Zone South
Representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2027
Chief Kenneth Chavez: Appointment as a Police Zone North
Representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2027
Chief Jim Klug: Reappointment as Fire Zone North
Representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2027
Chief Tom Beach: Reappointment as Fire Zone South
Representative, with a term to expire December 31, 2027
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the above listed representatives, be, and hereby are, appointed and
reappointed to the Regional Communications Advisory Board, with terms to expire as listed
above.
