Hi Chris,
At the moment, none of SunShare's planned projects have batteries in any territory, including
Starling and Oriole.

Good morning, Chris -
Do you know if there will be any batteries stored on site for USR23-0047? If there are, we will
require an EAP for this location. In addition, if the quantity of batteries stored on location meets
or exceeds the reportable quantity, they will also need to complete a Tier II report.
Please contact us if you have any questions.

Hello Chris,
The District has reviewed the proposed USR for the installation of a solar facility. The District concurs
with the proposed use provided the following are installed.
• Installation in accordance with NFPA 70/National Electric Code as adopted by Weld County.
• As the facility is unstaffed and energized at all times allowing for a fire to burn and spread
undetected, it will have,
o Security Fence to prevent the general public access.
• A Fire Break on the perimeter of the installation. This may be in the form of a two track,
road, disc line or tilled/grazed land adjacent. If using tilled land than a break must be
installed if it goes to fallow/CRP. This will reduce the likelihood a fire originating in the
energized areas off limits to fire personnel from coming out of the area or firing
threatening the facility externally.
o A vegetation management plan (mow, graze etc..) to manage the interior vegetation to
reduce risk of fire building momentum.
o Address and Emergency Information signage at likely FD access TBD.
Truly,
Ruda R'apte
