WHEREAS, Donald P. Farner, Partner, dba Triple R Livestock, 8250 Pontiac
Street, Commerce City, Colorado, has requested permission to locate a commercial
hog farm operation on the following described property, to -wit:
All of that portion of the SW4 of Sec 25 T 1N. , R 68 W. of the 6th P. M. ,
Weld County, Colorado, described as follows: Beginning at the NW
corner of the SW4 of Sec 25, Thence S. 000 06' W. 1325. 5 feet along
the West line of said Sec 25, thence N. 89° 58' E. 1646. 6 feet to the
true point of beginning, thence N. 89° 58' E. 1019.0 feet more or less
to the East line of the SW4 of said Sec 25, thence N. 000 56' E. 1270. 8
feet along the East line of said SW4 of Sec 25, thence S. 89° 54' W.
parallel to and 57.1 feet South of the North line of the SW4 of said Sec
25, a distance of 1039. 8 feet, thence South 1269. 3 feet to the true point
of beginning, together with easement for roadway across the South 15
feet of the North 72.1 feet of the West 1644.3 feet of the SW4 of said
Sec 25, a total of 30.0 acres, more or less, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Planning Commission has approved this request
by resolution dated February 4, 1969, and
WHEREAS, the said requested business location is in an agricultural zone as
set forth by the Planning Commission of Weld County, and
WHEREAS, according to Section 3. 9 (5) and 3.10 of the Zoning Resolution of
Weld County, said commercial hog farm operation may be authorized upon the
approval of the Board of County Commissioners,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Donald P. Farner, Partner, dba
Triple R Livestock, 8250 Pontiac Street, Commerce City, Colorado is hereby
authorized to operate a commercial hog farm on the following described property,
to -wit:
All of that portion of the SW4 of Sec 25 T 1N., R 68 W. of the 6th P. M. ,
Weld County, Colorado, described as follows: Beginning at the NW

RESOLUTION:
Be it therefore resolved to recommend to the Board of County Comaiskionex
the request for approval of the location for a hog farm operation, subject
to there being no protests from surrounding property owners. Motion &y Mr.

DISCUSSION: Mr. Davin explained that this will be a service center to provide
equipment and fumigants which will be rented to the farmers at a price com-
petitige to other companies in the area. This will allow beet growers on the
smaller farms that cannot afford the equipment to stay in business. This wil]
be a pilot. study the first year. Later centers will be established in the
areas where these services are not already being provided by other people.
OW has the property leased from the U.P.R.R. There will be a cut into the
property from the highway.
RESOLUTION:
Be it therefore resolved to recommend to the Board of County Commission]
the zone change A to C for the Great Western Sugar Company. Motion by Mr.
Nix, seconded by Mr. Brunner. A unanimous vote of "Aye". Motion carried.

APPEARANCE FOR: Robert Ruyle, Duane Flack and Jim Sargent
DISCUSSION: Mr. Ruyle stated that Monfort Feed Lots has a contract and a lease for
the purchase of Mr. Sargent's farm. This is a regiest for the expansion of
the existing feed lots. .Mr.'Ruyle showed an aerial photo as Exhibit #1 show-
ing the existing farm and the Sargent farm, also shows the 660' limitation
from the existing county road. Mr. Sargents home is located in the SW corner
of the property. Mr. Sargent has the right to reside on the property and de-
termine what the use is under our lease. Monforts will not construct pens
on the 9 pens which are shown located in the area of Mr. Sargents house. We
would like to have th whole farm approved for feeding subject to our agree-
ment with him regarding the 9 pens. The hedge will be extended to the south.
Drainage would be to the south and into a collection ditch. The policy has
