RE: APPOINTMENT OF LEAH FLESNER AS DEPUTY CLERK TO THE BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the upcoming retirement of Cheryl Hoffman and the reassignment of
roles and responsibilities in the Clerk to the Board's Office, a need exists to appoint another
Deputy Clerk to the Board, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-7 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter, it is the
desire of the Board to appoint Leah Flesner as a Deputy Clerk to the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Leah Flesner, be, and hereby is, appointed as a Deputy Clerk to the Board,
effective September 16, 2024.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of October, A.D., 2024, nunc pro tunc September 16, 2024.
