Please be advised that on January 16, 2024, BURNCO Colorado, LLC, whose address and telephone
number are 10100 Dallas St, Henderson, CO 80640; (720) 215-2202, filed an application for a/an Acreage
Release Request (AR- 1) to M1998013, The Shores, which is located approximately 3 miles North of
Firestone, Section 1, Township 2N, Range 68W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County.
Release of Permit Area incorporated under AM3 prior to mining activity.
The application decision is scheduled for March 18, 2024. Written comments or objections to the
application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Eric C. Scott at the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303)
866-3567 x 8140.
Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the
application review process. The Division is required to provide a thirty (30) day period following a decision
on the release application to allow for appeals to its decision.
