Bids were received and opened on August 27, 2024, for B2400058 - Fiber Repair (IT -
1623 -Network Switches and Access Points). Two (2) bids with 2 options each were
received. Option 1, boring under the river, is the desired option with costs ranging from
$73,584.00 to $110,053.41. Attached is the bid tabulation for your information.
The Information Technology staff reviewed all bid responses. Allo Communications,
LLC out of Lincoln, NE proposed the lowest cost solution for option 1 of $73,584.00 and
meets the needed functionality documented in the bid process.
Based on the above information, I recommend the Board award B2400058 - Fiber
Repair to Allo Communications, LLC, for a total amount of $73,584.00.
