- Call to Order by Shawn Walcott 4:33pm

o Christina Harney- Employment law lawyer Bethel and Santo
o Stacey Aurzada- City Attorney of City of Greeley
o Bobbier Cranston- Assistant City Attorney of City of Greeley
Shawn shared statutes and included Colorado law for open meetings act in the agenda
Stacey and Bobbier here to observe and to discuss options for the increased involvement of the
City with the HA and ED
Shawn asked the board if there were objections to including Bobbier and Stacey to executive
session, Ernest made a motion to enter executive session for determining positions relative to
matters that may be subject to negotiations for the hiring of a new Executive Director of the
Greeley -Weld Housing Authority § 24-6-402(4)(e), C.R.S., Commissioner James seconded the
motion, motion carried no opposition

End executive session, reenter public session 5:14pm
Juliana motioned to resolve contract negotiations for the process of hiring a new Executive Director
of the Greeley -Weld Housing Authority, Kyle seconded the motion. Commissioner James, Karrin
and Holly abstained. Motion passes to offer Vincent Ornelas the executive director role.
Stacey and Bobbier left the meeting at 5:18pm

Ernest moved to go into executive session related to payment of wages specific to statute § 24-6-
402(4)(b), C.R.S, Karrin seconded the motion.
Enter executive session 5:23pm
End executive session, reenter public session 5:46pm
Karrin motioned that they draft a letter saying they are exempt from the law being quoted and they
will not be paying the claim. Ernest seconds. No objections, motion passes
Commissioner James asked Juliana to connect him to City Attorney.
Adjourn - Commissioner James moved to adjourn, Karrin seconded. Meeting adjourned at 5:49pm
