RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW
PERMIT, USR24-0010, FOR A SOLAR ENERGY FACILITY (SEF) OUTSIDE OF
SUBDIVISIONS AND HISTORIC TOWNSITES IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE
DISTRICT - SUNLIGHT FARM, LLC, C/O PIVOT SOLAR 59, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 31st day of
July, 2024, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the
application of Sunlight Farm, LLC, P.O. Box 850, Johnstown, Colorado 80534, do Pivot Solar 59,
LLC, 1601 Wewatta Street, Suite #700, Denver, Colorado 80202, for a Site Specific Development
Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR24-0010, for a Solar Energy Facility (SEF) outside
of subdivisions and historic townsites in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following
described real estate, to -wit:
Part of the SE1/4 of Section 11, Township 6 North,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant for a continuance and, having been fully informed, deemed
it advisable to continue the matter to August 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., to allow the case to be heard
by the Planning Commission on August 6, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to August 21,
2024, at 10:00 a.m.

I just want to give you a heads up that the applicant for USR24-0010 is requesting a continuance at the July 2nd PC hearing
to continue to the August 6th Hearing. Additionally, they will be requesting a continuance from the July 17th BOCC Hearing
to the August 21St BOCC Hearing. Please see email below.

Thank you for this.
In order to provide some more information on water and irrigation, we are willing to move the PC hearing to - 8/6 at 1:30
pm and the BOCC hearing to 8/21 at 10 am.
Please confirm and I will resend the mineral notice letters accordingly.

August
PC — Tuesday 8/6 — 1:30
BOCC — Wednesday 8/21 and Wednesday 8/28 — 10 AM
September
PC — Tuesday 9/3 — 1:30
BOCC — Wednesday 9/18 and Wednesday 9/25 — 10 AM
