WHEREAS, Miller Feed Lots, Inc. has requested permission to
locate a commercial feed yard on that portion of land west of the
Independent Ditch in the Southwest Quarter (SWI) of Section One (1),
Township Four (4) North, Range Sixty-six (66), West of the Sixth
Principal Meridian in Weld County, Colorado, and,
WHEREAS, The Weld County Planning Commission has approved
this request, and,
WHEREAS, said requested feed lot location is in an "A" -
Agricultural Zone as set forth by the Planning Commission of Weld
County, and,
WHEREAS, according to Section 3.3(3) of the Zoning Resolution
of Weld County, said Commercial Feed Lot Operation is authorized
upon the approval of the Board of County Commissioners, and,
WHEREAS, the plans of said commercial feed lot operation
are approved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Miller Feed Lots, Inc.
is hereby authorized to operate a commercial feed lot on the
Southwest Quarter (SWi) of Section One (1), Township Four (4)
North, Range Sixty-six (66) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,

WHEREAS, Texaco, Inc., a Deleare Corporation, P. 0. Box 2100,
Denver, Colorado, has presented this Board with an Oil and Gas Lease covering
the following tracts of land situate in Weld County, Colorado described as
follows, to -wit:
Southwest Quarter (SW*) of Section 35, Township 8 North, Range
63 West of the 6th P. M.;
West half of Southwest Quarter (W-ISW*); West half of East half
of the Southwest Quarter (1104SWf) in Section 2, Township 7 North,

WHEREAS, the said applicant having paid to the County Treasurer of Weld
County the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00) therefor, and '-caving produced a State

of any town or city in the County of Weld, at the location described as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners having
examined the said application and the other qualifications of the applicant do
hereby grant License #66-8 to said applicant to sell 3.2% beer only at retail
at said place, and do hereby authorize and direct the issuance of said license by
the Chairman of the Board, attested by the County Clerk and Recorder of Weld County,
good for one year from the date of issue unless revoked, according to law, provided,
however, that said license shall be issued upon the express condition and agreement
that the place where licensee is authorized to sell beer under said license will be
conducted in strict conformity to all laws of the State of Colorado and rules and
regulations relating thereto heretofore passed by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, and any violation thereof shall be cause for revocation of
the license.

WHEREAS, John E. Martinez dba the Gill Recreation Center has presented
to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado an application,
together with the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), for a County Dance Hall
License to hold public dances at a location more particularly described as
follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, having examined the said application and the other

CANCELLING PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES
FOR THE YEAR, 1959
IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,166.11:
WHEREAS, Charles 0. Bursiel, County Treasurer, has submitted to the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, a list of personal
property taxes assessed for the year, 1959, said personal property taxes now
deemed to be uncollectible, list attached hereto and made a part of this
resolution, and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned Charles 0. Bursie' has certified to the
Board of County Commissioners that he has exhausted al' means for collecting
said personal property taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado that the aforementioned personal property taxes in the
amount of $3,166.11 be designated as uncollectible and therefore cancelled in
accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, 137-1-14.

from the Weld County Court House, Weld County Jai]. and Weld County Nursing
Home at a rate of Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per month, for a term beginning
June 1, 1966 and ending May 31, 1967; and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interest of the County
to accept said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that an agreement for trash removal as submitted by
John Kline be and the same is hereby accepted.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Annex "B", Senior Supplemental Plan, has been made
available to Weld County, Colorado for its active employees by
Blue Cross, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
has studied all available plans and in their opinion "Annex B"
(SSP) is the best available program, and,
WHEREAS, the cost of this Senior Supplemental Plan is $6.00
per month per person,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado does hereby approve
the addition of "Annex B", Senior Supplemental Plan to the
existing contract with Blue Cross at a cost of $6.00 per month
per person.

IN THE MATTER OF ALTERING CERTAIN ELECTION
PRECINCT BOUNDARIES IN THE CITY OF GREELEY,
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
WHEREAS, certain new territory has been annexed to the City of
Greeley, and
WHEREAS, it appears that changes in the boundaries of certain election
precincts are necessary in order that the newly annexed area may be included in
the proper precincts, and it is desirable and necessary that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, now consider, determine and establish such
modifications in the election precincts in the City of Greeley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Ward Two, Precinct Six shall comprise all that part
of the City of Greeley bounded by the following described line: Beginning at the
intersection of the center line of West Thirteenth Street with the center line of
Thirty -Fifth Avenue, thence east and in an Easterly direction along the center line
of West Thirteenth Street and of Thirteenth Street to its point of intersection with
the center line of Twenty -First Avenue, thence South along the center line of Twenty -
First Avenue to its point of intersection with the center line of Sixteenth Street,
thence West and in a Westerly direction along the center line of Sixteenth Street
and West Sixteenth Street to a point that lies 500 feet from the center line of
Thirty -Fifth Avenue, thence North 00° 10' 25"W to the point of intersection with
the center line of West Fifteenth Street, thence South 89° 57' 35"W 500 feet to

RE -APPOINT WALTER DITTMER, COMMISSIONER
OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR THE COUNTY OF WELD
TERM EXPIRES JULY 1, 1971:
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did appoint Walter
Dittmer as Commissioner of the Housing Authority for the County of Weld to
fill an unexpired term ending July 1, 1966, and
WHEREAS, a further appointment is necessary and it is the desire
of this Board that Mr. Dittmer be retained in his present position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that Walter Dittmer be and he is hereby appointed
Commissioner of the Housing Authority for the County of Weld for a term of five
years, ending July 1, 1971.

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado have been asked many tines to adopt uniform and minimum
specifications for the construction of roads and streets in the
County, and,
WHEREAS, after considerable study and research, the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County have found a book which
outlines the minimum specifications of roads and streets to be
used by Weld County, Colorado,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County that they do hereby adopt the
"Recommended Minimum Specifications" booklet as prepared by
County Area Engineers Council of Colorado (1964 Edition) as
the official guide for road and street construction in the
County of Weld, Colorado.

the cost of installing the radio communication system, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it necessary for the welfare and safety
of the County to use said refund to purchase additional units thereby increasing
the efficiency of said radio communication system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that the appropriation for Civil Defense Capita?.
Outlay be and the same is hereby increased by $4,276.43 for the purpose as
stated above.

WHEREAS, The Weld County Planning Commission held many hearings
on the zoning of the Gilcrest - Platteville area pursuant to the
zoning laws of the State of Colorado; and,
WHEREAS, following said hearings, said Planning Commission
recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
that said Gilcrest-Platteville area be zoned; and,
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
caused a notice to be published in The Greeley Booster on May 13,
1966 and June 2, 1966, informing the public of a hearing to be held
June 15, 1966 at 2:00 P.M. to consider zoning of the area known as
Gilcrest - Platteville area; and,
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners did on June 15,
196b at 2:00 P.M. hold a public hearing to consider zoning,of the
area known as Gilcrest - Platteville area; and,
WHEREAS, there was no opposition to the zoning of the area;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Gilcrest - Platteville
area be zoned as is shown on the map attached hereto and made a
part hereof. The area herein zoned is more particularly defined
as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point in the Southeast corner of
Section 36, Township 3 North, Range 65 West of the 6th
P.M.; thence North to the Northeast corner of Section 24,

CONCERNING RETAIL PACKAGE
LIQUORE STORE LICENSE OF
ELDINA STENCIL, d/b/a WEST VIEW LIQUORS
The application of Edina Stencil, d/b/a West View Liquors
for a retail package liquor store license came on for hearing
May 25, 1966 at 2:00 P.E., and the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Weld, having heard the testimony and evidence
adduced upon said hearing and having considered the testimony,
evidence, petitions and remonstrances filed with said Board, and
having carefully weighed the same, now makes the following findings:
1. That evidence discloses that the application was
duly made, and that notice thereof and of said hearing was duly
given by publication as required by law.
2. That no question was raised nor objection offered
as to the applicant concerning the standing, character or motices
of said applicant.
3. That the said Eldina Stencil, d/b/a West View
Liquors, is the owner and occupant of said premises sought to be

AMENDED RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, A public hearing was held on Wednesday, May 18, 1966
at 1:30 P.M. in the office of the County Commissioners of Weld
County, Weld County Courthouse, Greeley, Colorado, pursuant to legal
notice pertaining to a petition for change of zone as requested by
Celeste Rumney; and,
WHEREAS, a number of persons were present who favored the change
of zone, and
WHEREAS, there was no one present at the hearing who objected
to the change of zone and said change of zone follows the recommenda-
tion of The Weld County Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it was determined that the "land use" was a logical
expansion of the already existing use for a salvage yard, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the adjacent salvage yard agrees to keep
the channel of the river clear of car bodies and other items; and
WHEREAS, Tom Roach, owner of Riverside Salvage Yard is the
prospective buyer of the Rumney property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that subject to the owner of
the Riverside Salvage Yard, who is the prospective buyer of the
Rumney property, removing and keeping removed from the channel of the
Platte River all car bodies and any other items which may create
a hazard to the road bridge down channel, the County Commissioners of
Weld County hereby change the zone of the property described in the
Celeste Rumney petition from "E" Estate to "I" Industrial Zone.

TOWN OF WINDSOR:
WHEREAS, the Weld County Planning Commission has recommended to the
Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, the approval of the plat
dedication for the Lakeview Cemetery Second Filing, Town of Windsor, said area
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE4)
of Section 21, Township 6 North, Range 67 West of 6th P. M.,
Weld County, Colorado, and considering the North line of the
Northeast Quarter (NE0-) of said Section 21 to bear North 88° 36' 20"
West, with all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Thence
North 88° 36' 20" West along the North line of said Section 21,
455.03 feet; Thence South 00° 00' 00" East, a distance of 50.01 feet
to the True Point of Beginning; Thence South 88° 36' 20" East along
the South dedication line of State Highway Number 392, a distance of

Weld County, Colorado that the accompanying plat is approved for filing, however,
this approval does not constitute acceptance by the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, of any dedication to the public use of streets, highways or
easements or other property contained in this plat, nor will the County of Weld
undertake maintenance of streets, roads, and rights -of -way within said subdivision.

WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on Wednesday, May 18, 1966, at
2:30 o'clock P. M., in the office of the County Commissioners of Weld County,
Weld County Courthouse, Greeley, Colorado, pursuant to legal notice pertaining
to a petition for change of zone as requested by W. M. Wiedeman; and
WHEREAS, the property borders on the City of Greeley and said property
is zoned for business; and
WHEREAS, for the orderly development of the City of Greeley, this
property should be annexed to the City of Greeley and at which time it may be zoned,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the petition for change of lone by
W. M. Wiedeman is denied for the reason that it should be zoned by the City of
Greeley upon annexation to the City; that said property does not have water
nor sewage disposal available to the site as the same must be furnished by the
City.

the safety and welfare of the general public necessitates changing the route
of County Road #157 as located in the Southwest corner of Section 31, Township

WHEREAS, Mr. Conrad Sack for the consideration of $3,461.50 will convey
by warranty deed a parcel of land for right-of-way purposes, more particularly
described as follows:
Considering the West line of the SW+ of said Section 31 to bear
