RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT,
USR24-0017, FOR A CHURCH OUTSIDE OF SUBDIVISIONS AND HISTORIC
TOWNSITES IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - LIVING ROCK CHURCH
OF SEVERANCE, INC., DBA CALVARY CHURCH SEVERANCE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 6th day of
November, 2024, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of
hearing the application of Living Rock Church of Severance, Inc., dba Calvary Church Severance,
P.O. Box 352, Severance, Colorado 80546, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by
Special Review Permit, USR24-0017, for a Church outside of subdivisions and historic townsites
in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lot A of Recorded Exemption, RECX17-0026; being
part of the W1/2 of Section 6, Township 6 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of staff for a continuance and, having been fully informed, finds that this
request be approved and the matter should be continued to January 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., to
allow the case to be heard by the Planning Commission on December 3, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to January 8,
2025, at 10:00 a.m.
