Home My WebLink About20242261.tiffRECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES HOUSING AUTHORITY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2024 The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Administration Building, Greeley, Colorado, August 26, 2024, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. El ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof: Commissioner Kevin D. Ross, Chair Commissioner Perry L. Buck, Pro-Tem Commissioner Mike Freeman Commissioner Scott K. James - EXCUSED Commissioner Lori Saine Also present: County Attorney, Bruce Barker Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl Pattelli MINUTES: Commissioner Buck moved to approve the Minutes of the Housing Authority Board meeting of July 22, 2024, as printed. Commissioner Freeman seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: 1) CONSIDER CONTRACT ID #8649 PROPOSAL OF GREELEY-WELD COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - KINSALE INSURANCE COMPANY, C/O ARTHUR J. GALLAGHER RISK MANAGEMENT SERVICES, LLC: Kelly Leffler, Department of Human Resources, stated the Greeley -Weld County Housing Authority insurance went into effect on August 1, 2024, thus the Chair signed the documentation on July 30, 2024, for submittal to ensure ongoing coverage. Commissioner Freeman moved to approve said proposal and authorize the Chair to sign. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Buck, and it carried unanimously. RESOLUTIONS: The Resolutions were presented and signed as listed on the Board of County Commissioners Consent Agenda. Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to and respectfully submitted by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
