RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT GODIN AS CHIEF BUILDING OFFICIAL OF
WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution #2015-1784, dated June 17, 2015, Tom Parko was appointed
as Interim Building Official of the Weld County Department of Planning Services, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners now deems it advisable to appoint
Robert Godin as Chief Building Official of the Weld County Department of Planning Services,
effective January 8, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Robert Godin, be, and hereby is, appointed as the Chief Building Official
of the Weld County Department of Planning Services, effective January 8, 2024.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 22nd day of January, A.D., 2024, nunc pro tunc January 8, 2024.
