DEDICATION OF PERPETUAL RIGHT-OF-WAY
SCOTT'S ACRES:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that it hereby approves the dedication fo the perpetual rights -of -way
over the public roads, streets, highways and easements in behalf of the public
in that subdivision known as Scott's Acres situate in that portion of the
Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section 9, township 1 North, Range 68 West of the
6th P. M., Weld County, Colorado, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of said Section 9 from
which the Northeast corner thereof bears East 180.0'; thence
S 00° 05' W. 1673.9' along the West right-of-way boundary of the
Puritan Branch of the Union Pacific Railroad; thence S 6° 27' W.
329.15'; thence S 00° 05' W. 676.48' leaving said right-of-way
at this point; thence West 2334.47' along the South line of said
Northeast Quarter (NEI) to an irrigation ditch; thence along said
ditch by the following courses N 7° 54" E 136.25'; thence N. 59°28'E
300.0', thence N 55° 23' E. 217.0'; thence N 45° 23'E. 471.4'; thence
N. 39° 51'E. 62.7'; thence 6° 06' W. 100.4'; thence N41° 00' W
516.1'; thence N39° 05' W. 273.0'; thence N.16° 54' W. 70.0'; thence
N359.51, E. 250.5'; thence N 55° 46' E. 51.7'; thence N 86° 08' E.
348.6'; thence N 76° 37" E. 130.0'; thence N. 55° 37' E. 57.0';
thence N. 12° 38' E. 122.0'; thence N 87° 21' E. 110.1', leaving
said ditch at this point; thence North 677.3' m/1 to the North line
of Section 9; thence East along the North Line of Section 9 a
distance of 1239.0' m/l to the point of beginning, Contains 102 acres,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the accompanying plat is approved for
filing and the public roads, streets, highways and easements thereon shown are
approved, provided however, that the County of Weld will not undertake the
maintenance of streets, roads, and rights -of -way until they have been constructed
by the subdivider, according to specifications and accepted by the Count of Weld,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subdivider shall post a bond in the
sum of $3,358.00 to guarantee absolute compliance with County Road specifications
and that said bond shall continue in effect until released by action of the Board.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

Dear Sir:
November 6, 1969
I have for acknowledgment your letter of October 29, 1969, in
reply to my communication of October 23, 1969, with regard to
your posting of a bond to guarantee construction of a road within
your subdivision located in Weld County, Colorado.
Please be advised that I have noted the contents of your letter, and
now wish to advise that unless you post a bond in the amount of $3, 358.00
to insure the building of roads in your subdivision in compliance with
Weld County road specifications, I assure you that no building permit
will be issued as stated in my previous letter.
I trust that I have adequately answered your letter, and trust that you
will post the necessary bond as requested.

Dear Sir:
Reference is made to your subdivision known as Scott's Acres Subdivi-
sion, located in a portion of the Northeast Cuarter of Section 9, Town-
ship 1 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
If you will recall, on or about May 14, 1969, the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted a Resolution approv-
ing the filing for record of said subdivision; however, with the stipula-
tion that a bond in the sum of $3358.00 be posted to guarantee that all
roads within the subdivision be built in compliance with Weld County
road specifications. To the present time, we have no record that such
a bond has ever been posted as required.
In view of the above, I kindly ask that you accept this letter as notice to
you that no building permit will be issued for any structure within said
subdivision, unless a bond in the sum of $3358.00 is posted as required
by Order of the Board of Weld County Commissioners.
If you have any questions in this regard, do not hesitate to contact the
Weld County Planning Commission or this office.
