Mr. Ordaz, This letter provides notice to Jobs of Hope, Inc. that Employment Services of Weld County (ESWC) is terminating the two professional service agreements between Weld County and Jobs of Hope, Inc. The professional services agreements were executed on January 26, 2022 (2021-2793) and February 16, 2022 (2021-3299). Please consider this your 30 -day notice, under Section 4 of the agreements. The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) has determined that Employment Services of Weld County and Jobs of Hope, Inc., have failed to adhere to standards set forth by the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). CDLE has, therefore, requested that we terminate our agreements funded by these programs and return any unused funds. Rather than implementing a reimbursement method, Employment Services chose to provide Jobs of Hope, Inc., with payment upfront to complete the responsibilities outlined in the professional services agreements. Based on CDLE's Financial and Programmatic Monitoring Report, Employment Services must recapture any funds unspent with Jobs of Hope, Inc. and cannot issue the final allotment of funds of $53,900 and $13,891. Additionally, Employment Services may request the disallowed costs associated with Jobs of Hope, Inc., be returned at a future date. Please contact us immediately to arrange the return of the unspent funds.
