Dear Commissioners,
RECEIVED

WELD COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS
The Poudre River Trail Corridor Board of Directors appreciates the continued support of the Weld
Country Board of Commissioners.
The Poudre River Trail Corridor, Inc. is a local non-profit organization, managed by a local board of nine
members comprised of representatives from Greeley, Windsor & Weld County. The board operates
under the direction of those community representatives and an intergovernmental agreement allowing
the support of professional staff from the City of Greeley, Weld County, and the Town of
Windsor. Together they form a community partnership that maintains and improves a 21 -mile
recreational trail, opening the Poudre River Corridor to communities in Weld County.
Your support of the Trail this past year of $32,000 was used to help fund our new Executive Director,
Barry Wilson. Mr. Wilson, along with our part-time trail manager, were able to host several events this
past year including Trail-Athon, Party for the Poudre, Poudre Trail Days, Moonlight Bike Ride, and many
more. He has also been able to also increase our social media presence and email newsletter
subscriptions. The next item that the Board and Direction will be undertaking is to increase the
awareness of our Endowment fund.
We wanted to let you know that your ongoing support is appreciated and should you have questions or
need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me at 970-302-9935 or
dale.hall@greeleygov.com, or Barry Wilson, Executive Director, at 97O -381-625O or

Sincerely,
Date 9C. Matt
