I L . ..1 - RADO As provided by law, there are enclosed herewith certified copies of two resolutions and orders adopted by the Board of Directors of Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District at its regular meeting on September I(, 1965. The first Resolution and Order adopts a budge of expenses for he District for its next fiscal year and fixes the rate of levy at one mill (.001) on every dollar of property valuation within the District. The second Resolution and Order provides the balance of revenues required by the District budget and levies the flat special assessments in dollars against those lands to which water allotments have been attached. As required by law, the Board has furnished to the Assessor of yoJr County, a list of the lands together with the amounts of assessment in dollars to be extended upon the tax rolls within your County. E D SE P 2l l !! 19b5 Secretary -Manager 6 _ y:/ (ll CERTIFIED COPY OF RESOLUTION AND ORDER RELATING TO THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF TAXES ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF NORTHERN COLORADO WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT RESOLUTION AND ORDER WHEREAS, It is the duty of said Board of Directors, as provided by law, in each year to determine the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation, taking int consideration other sources of revenue of the District, and to fix a rate o- lecy, which, when levied upon every dollar of assessed valuation of property within the D' trict, and with other revenues will raise the amount required for the District to supply funds for paying expenses for organization, for surveys and pans, paying the cost of construction, operating and maintaining the works of the District, not cxcee ing the one -halt= mill on the dollar prior to the delivery of water from the works o' the District; and, thereafter, not to exceed one mill; and WHEREAS, J. R. Barkley, Secretary -Manager of the District, and J. C. Nelsoi, Treasurer of the District, were appointed by this Board of Directors to prepare the Budget for its fiscal year commencing November 1, 1965, and have submitted t`te Jame to the said Board, and caused to be publishes the requisite Notice o'r HearHag; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of Directors of Nort_hera Co!orac, Water Conservancy District hereby approves and adopts the Budget as submitted be the duly appointed Budget Officers and appropriates the funds for the pu-pose shown wits n said Budget; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board of Directors of said District, iaeing f:tnd and determined that water is being delivered and will continue to be del verec from the works of said District, does now determine that the amount of money to be raises by taxation for said purposes for the year 1965, to be collected in the year 1966, approximately Four Hundred Forty -Nine Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($449,500.00); and said Board of Directors does hereby fix the rate or levy of one mill to be lei upon every dollar of assessed valuation of property both real and personal, within Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District for the year 1965; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board of Directors of said Distric does now certify to the Boards of County Commissioners of Boulder, Larimer, Weld, Morgan, Wa a- ington, Logan, and Sedgwick Counties, in the State of Colorado, said rate of one mi so fixed for said purposes of said District to be levied upon every dollr of asses. ad value on all property within said District in said Counties as aforesaid, and tines aw direct that at the time and in the manner required by 1aw for levying of taxes for county purposes, said Board of County Commissioners shall levy said tax or one mil' upon each dollar of assessed valuation of al property, real and persona!, wi lin District, in their respective counties, in addition to such other taxes ha mao he levied by such Boards or County Commissioners; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That all offices having authority to levy and csIlec: such taxes within each said County, levy and collect such taxes in the fort anc mangier as county taxes are col ec:ed and when collected to pay same to Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, all as provided by said "Water Conservancy Act."
