RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the terms for certain positions on the Extension Advisory Council will soon
expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
William Nelson as the Livestock Representative, Erin Mathews as the Energy Representative,
and Gary Schaneman as the Business Representative, to said board, all with terms to expire
February 1, 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that William Nelson, Erin Mathews, and Gary Schaneman, be, and hereby are,
reappointed to the Extension Advisory Council, all with terms to expire February 1, 2027.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of January, A.D., 2024.
