RE: ANNUAL MEETING AND 2025 BUDGET HEARING — WELD COUNTY BEEBE DRAW
LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY
A public hearing was conducted on December 2, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Kevin D. Ross, Chair
Commissioner Perry L. Buck, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Mike Freeman
Commissioner Scott K. James
Commissioner Lori Saine - EXCUSED
Also present:
Clerk to the Board, Esther E. Gesick
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, Cheryl Pattelli
Budget Manager, Jennifer Oftelie
The following business was transacted:
El I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 18, 2024, and duly published
November 20, 2024, in the Greeley Tribune, the Annual Meeting of the Weld County Beebe Draw
Law Enforcement District Authority Board was held, and a public hearing was conducted to
consider the proposed 2025 Budget for the Weld County Beebe Draw Law Enforcement Authority
District.
12 Cheryl Pattelli, Chief Financial Officer, shared the total revenue for Beebe Draw was
$63,376.00, property tax revenue was $61,476.00, with a specific ownership tax amounting to
$1,900.00, and expenses are $63,375.00. She requested the Board approve the Budget, the
Resolution Appropriating Funds, the Resolution setting the mill levy at 7.000 mills, setting a total
assessed value of $8,782,300.00, certified by the County Assessor, and approval of the
Intergovernmental Agreement between Beebe Draw Law Enforcement and the Weld County
Sheriff's Office for patrol services.
El No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
e Commissioner James moved to approve the following items:
1. Resolution to Adopt the Budget, in the amount of $63,376.00.
2. Resolution to appropriate receipt and expenditure of the budgeted funds, in the
amount of $63,376.00

3. Resolution to Set the Mill Levy at 7.000 mills, for a total assessed value of
$8,782,300.00, as certified by the Weld County Assessor.
4. Law Enforcement Agreement and authorize Chair to sign, for the Sheriff's Office
to provide law enforcement services to the district area.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Buck, and it carried unanimously.
IE There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 9:25 a.m.
This Certification was approved on the 16th day of December, 2024.
