RE: APPROVE REASSIGNMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO NOXIOUS WEED
MANAGEMENT ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a reassignment for a certain position and the term for a certain position will
soon expire on the Noxious Weed Management Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reassign
Daryl Wiest from an Alternate Member to a Regular Member on said board, with a term to expire
August 19, 2025, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint James Johnston to said board,
with a term to expire August 19, 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Daryl Wiest be, and hereby is, reassigned, and James Johnston be, and
hereby is, reappointed to the Noxious Weed Management Advisory Board, with terms to expire
as indicated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of August, A.D., 2024.
