The Clerk is directed to record the report,plat the road,draw warrants in favor of parties for damages awarded, and cause notices to be posted of opening of said road,and notify the Road Overseer of proper District to open the same to travel in sixty days as required by law. GENTLEMEN:—We, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the . • public require a County wagon road to be laid out as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the southeast corner of Section 24, Township 2 , Range 65 , thence running west one-half • mile to the southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 24., Township 2 , Range 65 , a distance of one-half mile. This road, if opened,andibridged, will permit of much more convenient travel and will be of especial benefit to the school bus in cutting down • its distance in bringing children to school, and save the necessity of going many miles out of its way owing to the fact that said road has not been opened for travel. • • • • • • • • • • • • Said road to be not less than sixty (60)feet in width. We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road as above described, and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sum of one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of WC1C, , the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agrees to give the right of way through / our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for damage by reason thereof.
