RE: APPROVE REASSIGNMENT, APPOINTMENT, AND REAPPOINTMENT TO
PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists and the terms for certain positions on the Planning
Commission will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reassign
Michael Wailes from the At -Large Representative to the Advisory Board District 5 Representative
on said board, with a term to expire July 31, 2026, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Cindy Beemer to said board as the
At -Large Representative, and to reappoint Michael Palizzi to said board as the Advisory Board
District 2 Representative, both with terms to expire July 31, 2027, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Michael Wailes be, and hereby is, reassigned, Cindy Beemer be, and
hereby is, appointed, and Michael Palizzi be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Planning
Commission, with terms to expire as indicated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of July, A.D., 2024.
