REGARDING PROJECT S-0091(3) APPROXIMATELY 9.337 MILES LDNG;
BEGINNING AT THE COLORADO -NEBRASKA STATE LINE AND EXTENDING
SOUTH ON STATE HIGHWAY 21 IN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that they hereby -approve a certain agreement with the
State Highway Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for the use
and benefit of the Department of Highways of the State of Colorado,
dated September 28 , 19 60, whereby the County has reviewed and ap-
proved the Geometric Standards designated to govern'the construction
of a Federal Aid Secondary Project S 0091(3) consistingof improvements
oh State Highway Number 21, begithning at the Colorado -Nebraska State line
and extending South, for approximately 9,.337 miles long.
as per terms of said Agreement on behalf of Weld County by signatures
of the Board, as per attached Agreement, and made a part of this resolution.

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 28th day of September 19 60 ,
by and between the County of Weld party of the first part, and
THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF COLORADO, a public corporation for the use and
benefit of the STATE OF COLORADO, party of the second part, WITNESSETH that
WHEREAS, The Department has constructed, or proposes to construct, or
provide for the construction of, a project known as Project S 0091(3) approximately
9.337 miles long, beginning at the Colorado -Nebraska State
Line and oxtendin9 South _ on State Highway No. 21 in
the County, and
WHEREAS, the said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid Secondary
System,
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the Federal Aid Act of 1950, the
Parties have jointly reviewed the Geometric Standards governing the type of
construction for said Project and have agreed as follows:
' That the 19 60 Annual Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual
vehicular count, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is found
to be • 230' vehicles per day. Therefore, in accordance with approved and
established practices, the traffic volume twenty years hence is estimated to be
483 vehicles per day. Consequently,, the type of construction shall be that
designated as Type E of the Geometric Standards dated August 1, 1952, more fully
described as follows:
The surface shal} onsist'of Plant Mixed Asnhalt , 20.V feet
wide on a roadway 28 I feet wide. The maximum grade shall be 7.49
percent and the curvature shall not exceed 0 degrees and 30 minutes.
The rights of way shall not be less than 100 feet in width, tx gbt

design load of 2/ . Those structures having a length less than sixty (60)
feet shall have a clear roadway width, between curbs or wheel guards, of a/
feet and those having,a length of sixty (60) feet and over shall have a clear
roadway width of J feet.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the'
Successors and assigns of the Parties Thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on behalf of
the County by virtue of a resolution passed at the meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners held on September 28, 1960 a certified copy of which is
attached hereto.
