Peak")

Mountain Peak's 1041 Permit Application. Chevron is a customer of United Power, Inc.,

For these reasons, Chevron fully supports the Mountain Peak natural gas -fired power

Re: Weld County 1041 Use by Special Review (USR) Permit Application (the "1041 Permit
Application") for Mountain Peak Power, LLC ("Mountain Peak")
To Whom It May Concern:
As Vice President of The Williams Companies, Inc. ("Williams"), I am pleased to submit this
letter to Weld County in support of Mountain Peak's 1041 Permit Application. Rocky Mountain
Midstream LLC is a customer of United Power, Inc., ("United") and access to a safe and reliable
power supply is paramount to the success of Williams's operations. The Mountain Peak power
generation project, adjacent to United's Tesla Substation located at the intersection of County
Road 55 and County Road 22 in Weld County, will support those objectives beginning June 1,
2025.
As a key account of United, we understand that Mountain Peak's power generation project is a
crucial component of United's diversified energy supply portfolio following its exit from Tri-
State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc., expected to be finalized in May 2024. For
these reasons, Williams fully supports the Mountain Peak power generation project and Weld
County's approval of Mountain Peak's 1041 Permit Application.
Sincerely
I
